What exactly is this technique?

 

     Fasteners are inserted into sheet metal holes. Hydraulic pressure creates mechanical deformation, forming a permanent joint.

How does the process work? Precise hole punched in metal sheet Fastener placed in hole Special tool applies pressure to secure fastener Result: Rigid permanent mount ready for bolts/nuts
